*FOR THOSE SERIOUS ABOUT WATCHING THE MOVIE, DON’T WATCH THE TRAILER

I’m pimping the trailer just cuz… I guess for those who don’t plan on watching it can take a peek? Even though it’s SO DIFFERENT from the movie itself.

..so yeah I came back from watching The Cabin in the Woods today, and here I am making this post. Being an avid movie horror watcher.. this was one of the best horror flick I’ve ever seen. Considering I watched Dawn of the Dead, Daybreakers (rewatched both), People Under the Stairs, and The Feast (awful black comedy horror) a couple days before, this was so so refreshing. I really recommend this. This deserves a lot more box office $$$ for it’s originality. I’m not worried about the marks/grade, it’s pretty high :)

If you’ve seen the trailer, it’s what it shows you to be - 5 college students go on a trip to a isolated cabin in the middle of nowhere.. and starts to get hunted  down by something one by one. Cue eye-roll, been there, done that. I’m SO angry at the trailer because it sucks, but I understand how they are trying to keep things under wraps. It’s much muuuucchh more than that.  Even my sis who isn’t a fan of horror, she enjoyed it A LOT. She also picked up on a lot of things I missed, right from the opening scene (Japan is #1, America is #2!! ahahaha). We laughed at a lot of parts  xD

It’s not a perfect movie but it’s a very refreshing take on the horror genre, watch it!! Not a scary movie IMO (gory, yes), but I can’t say much more than that, the 2nd half is totally something else xD

Another recommendation that’s different from your normal slasher flick would be Triangle. Some people get stranded in the ocean and gets on board a seemingly empty ship… then they get hunted down by someone. Again. And again. And again. And again. <- hint xD But don’t read up on it in detail if you plan on watching it, it’s quite interesting hehe

Yay! My copy of the doujin came! Here is the front/back covers and a sample of Sioul (Shuuto, it was Maiki&#8217;s idea for his Japanese name v v) meeting Maron. Sioul is going out with Ellis (Maron&#8217;s sister) and Embla is her best friend xD My face was so red looking at it! Ahaha;;; Looking back though, it was really refreshing and different to draw something like this! I&#8217;ve been drawing BL since I started doujin making and even though this is BL it&#8217;s just different in many ways ^^; (aimed for the special boys who like traps xD) It was very challenging and I&#8217;m sorry to my AB characters to go through it but it more than thinking that I failed and it&#8217;s horrible, I&#8217;m giving a pat to myself for trying in the first place ^^ It&#8217;s almost sold out so I&#8217;m very happy about that TwT!! I want to make another one!
